Leila is the Founder and a Board Member of Mending Minds Foundation, a Leader, Rotarian, Humanitarian , Suicide Prevention Strategist ,Mental Health advocate, and enthusiast of Mental Health awareness. She has specialised in Mental Health subject in different concepts from World-Class Universities. She is committed to individuals and community well-being  on Mental Health awareness, Suicide Prevention, and empowerment to ensure a sustainable communities in the society’s social and economic growth. She is also a certified psychological First Aider by the Public Health England where she focuses on early intervention, assessing people and communities in need, and also identify support needs. She has spearheaded Mental Health awareness programmes to stop stigma and discrimination on matters of Mental Health by providing reliable information and resources on Mental Health. As a leader, she has steered diverse engagements on   Mental Health Matters and also created a movement to ensure Children,Young People,GBV survivors, Caregivers and diverse Vulnerable groups, communities and individuals understand early signs of Mental illnesses and Mental Health difficulties, stress management strategies, digital wellness, easily available support systems for Mental Health difficulties, to reduce the gap on Mental help availability and an understanding on Mental Health to help one take care of themselves or other individuals. She has served diverse individuals, organisations, and communities to change Mental Health perception and make positive impact in communities. She is a force to reach larger demographic communities/individuals/organisations and determined to share her knowledge on Mental Health, Mental wellbeing and Suicide Prevention achieved from various International Universities; the University of Glasgow, University of Reading, University of Kent, Kings College London and to mention but a few. This has given her authenticity when it comes to Mental Health information and resources. She believes early intervention, understanding, and education on Mental Health are important.She has achievements in Business Management, Management and Leadership.
